Tiger Woods Something Has Got To Be Wrong
Dubai Desert Classic it’s where Tiger Woods usually owns on the course averaging a 69 for his round. That is pretty dominating for a course having won tournaments their twice. Over night Tiger in the opening day shot a 77. Terrible for him. Reports are already starting to come out that he was moving like an old man again suggesting he might be hurt again. Quoting Mr. Woods
“I wasn’t in pain at all,” Woods said. “I was just trying to hit shots, and I wasn’t doing a very good job. At the end I finally hit some good ones but damage had already been done. On top of that, I could have hung in there, I could have shot something near even par if I would have made some putts, but I made nothing.”
It just seems to me that this guy has the biggest case of yipps of any athlete ever. We know why he is playing so bad. I like how it’s like a big elephant in the room. The question that everyone in the world wants to ask him but just won’t do it. Tiger how bad are you still fucked up in the head from getting a divorce from Ellen and has their been any steps from you to see maybe a psychiatrist to straighten out what is going on in your head?
Got me thinking about athletes that the same thing has happened to them. Here are a few athletes that got the yipps.
I don’t know if casual fans know this guy started out as a pitcher. During his first season in the majors he was pretty good. He posted a 11-7 record with a 3.50 ERA. It all just shattered when playoff time came around. During game one of the NLDS he made it thru the first two innings just fine. Come the third inning all hell broke lose giving up four runs on two hits, four walks and five wild pitches and was taken out of the game. He started one more game against the Mets in game two of the next round. He threw 5 wild pitches and was immediately take out of the game.
I really liked this guy growing up. I think it might have been his name or something even though he played for the Yankees. Chuck was a stud second baseman for a long time in the league for Minnesota. The four time all star was a strong fielder and hitter. I think it all came to a rise when he got traded to New York and the spotlight was on him. Playing 2nd base he once had three throwing errors to 1st base in 6 innings before he took himself out of the game.
He was actually a stud for the Cowboys the first two seasons but really starting to blow it on the third. He missed 10 field goals in 14 games and was cut from the team. He once missed a 24 yard field goal and that was the end for him. After a being delt to the Jets he seemed to work things out and has had a pretty ok career since then.
Tiger is always going to be a route for some reason how ever weird he is. There are instances where people can get over bad cases of the yipps so lets how tiger can do the same.
