My Steelers making two big moves today
You don’t like to see it happen all the time but the Steelers slapped the franchise tag on Le’Veon Bell. This will make sure that he doesn’t get to the free agent market. This actually huge news for the Steelers because in all it’s not costing them that much money, only a little over $12 million. To me this is chump change for what this guy is worth. The best running back in the game in my eyes.
This year they will most likely be working on a longer term deal. Both sides have until July 15 to come to terms on a multi-year deal if they can agree to one. All this really means is that they couldn’t come to terms on a deal before the deadline coming up on Wednesday.
Bell is only 25 years old. This is a fine deal I think that they will make this deal happen sooner than later.
The next big deal that I’m also real happy about is a big deal for Antonio Brown. This made him the highest paid WR in the game. Well worth it for me. The deal is a 5 year almost $73 million deal. This will keep him here while we are still in this Super Bowl window.

Now the whole offense will be back and better than ever next year. If everyone stays healthy that means that Martavis Bryant will be in the mix too after coming back from injury.
Last year he got almost 1,300 yards and 12 td’s. He is making $17 million a year and I can’t wait till football season starts. How much time until the HOF game?
