Protesting, know your rights
You can’t turn on the corner today without some sort of protest going on. The protest is a time honored tradition of America dating back to the Boston tea party when people actually had a legitimate reason to protest. However, today its just a bunch of cry babies that got ‘triggered’ because things didn’t go their way. They destroy property, usually of locally owned businesses in their own community or property of businesses that have supported their cause, the irony of that is hilarious. Another favorite tactic of the protester is to impede traffic.
The latter brings me to the point of this article. Listen, if you feel compelled to go out there and march and holler about how your rights have been somehow infringed upon go right ahead, that’s your constitutional right to do so. But you don’t have the right to impede on my right to freely move about this beautiful country by blocking the road or stopping me from going into a business or event.
So If you find yourself being blocked by one of these groups of protesters know your rights. If they are blocking the road you have the right to drive through them. Make sure you are following the rules of the road of course, but if they start banging on your car that’s even better. Speed up. If you hit a few of them that’s no problem, you keep driving. Go straight to the nearest police station and report it so you don’t get charged with a hit and run. When you are there make sure that you put in your police report that you were in fear for your life. That’s basically it. Make sure you can make a case that they created fear by banging on your car and threatening you, then run over anyone that is in your way.
Take this group for example, who only after one of their members were hit, decided that it was probably not too intelligent to try and block a highway in the dark.
Don’t fret though, real help is on the way as law makers start to introduce bills to toughen up this younger generation so they can actually function when things don’t go exactly the way they want.
