The most disgusting human of the day Albert Lord, Penn State trustee, says he is “Running out of sympathy” for Sandusky victims
First I’m going to leave you with a quote. I want you to read this and try for it not to make your head explode.
“Running out of sympathy for 35 yr old, so-called victims with 7 digit net worth,” Penn State trustee Albert Lord wrote in an email to the Chronicle of Higher Education. “Do not understand why they were so prominent in trial. As you learned, Graham Spanier never knew Sandusky abused anyone.”
“I am tired of victims’ getting in the way of clearer thinking and a reasoned approach to who knew what and who did what,” Lord told the Chronicle in a follow-up interview. “The notion that there can be only one point of view with respect to all this stuff, and trustees at Penn State should toe a line that reflects the politically correct point of view, is symptomatic of what ails us.”
My knee jerk reaction to these quotes are fuck this guy. These quotes are coming only a week out of Gram Spanier, Tim Curley and Gary Schultz all being found guilty of knowing what Sandusky was doing and that was raping children. I think that I’m always going to be passionate about this because one it’s my home state and B. the child rape. I can’t get over a guy that has the balls big enough to say something as ridiculous as this.
Albert Lord had no reason to send this email. Everything was done and the whole Penn State board could have just laid low a few more years and it would have been forgotten. The lack of awareness from this guy is staggering. He is talking about rape victims. They have the right to be yelling about this the rest of their lives. There really is no other way to look at it besides the other trustees really just need to muzzle this guy. They came out really quick speaking against what he had said,
“Al Lord’s comments are personal and do not represent the opinions of the board or the university,” Ira M. Lubert said. “The sentiments of board and university leadership were expressed in the very first line of the statement released by Penn State: First and foremost, our thoughts remain with the victims of Jerry Sandusky.”
