NHL Pitt at Montreal
Had a tough day betting yesterday. Nothing more maddening then when the spread in an NBA game is 11 and your team wins by 10. My home town is a small place a little southwest of Pittsburgh called Uniontown. Because of getting my head knocked around most of my life, one of my earliest memories was watching the 1992 The Lord Stanley Cup finals ( Against Chicago). This was my first real introduction to the NHL. They had some amazing players Kevin Stevens and a the rookie season of Jaromir Jagr. who had 69 points as a rookie. So Pitt even though their most notable player now looks like Andy Sandburg, they will always have a special place in my heart. On to the game. The Canadians ( Go USA ) are coming off a 1-0 lost to Detroit and will be looking to bounce back in this one. Penguins are fresh off an OT thriller against the Caps with a 8-7 win. I think this game is going to land somewhere in the middle. The over/under for the game is set at 5.5 so I’m going to take that tonight and hope for a slobberknocker.
