NHL pick of the day BlackHawks at Minnesota
Getting ready for a big game tonight. Minnesota is trying to bolster a lead in the Central while the Hawks try to catch up. The serious really isn’t going the Hawks way right now with the Wild holding a 8-0-1 lead. These games this year have just been a preview to the playoffs where they will eventually meet if everything goes good for each team. They have has such great series against each other already in the playoffs with the BlackHawks ending their season each time.
“I know we played pretty well last time and we’re going to have to be even better going into this game,” Quenneville said. “We’d like to be in the same area code going into the stretch run, so hopefully we can try to close the gap.”
This is just a huge game tonight for the Hawks. They need to set the tone against them for the playoffs to show the Wild what’s up.
The Wild’s coach is already trying to mix things in the lines for the playoffs.
“It allows you to know you can put guys into different spots when needed and you’re still not going to worry about it,” Boudreau said on Monday.
“The other thing is guys get to learn how to play with each guy and it’s not a shock to them all of a sudden. … We’re pretty good with the versatility all over the place. I think that will help.”
“We’re playing Chicago, the team that’s trying to catch us,” he said. “Anything less than playing your hardest will not be successful.”
Big game tonight is a must watch for Hawks fans. Game starts at 7.
