NFL scouts are saying ridiculous things about Chicago Bears Rookie Mitch Trubisky
Two NFL scouts came out with a glowing endorsement for Mitch Trubisky and surprisingly said he is better than a couple of good NFL quarterbacks
The quote came from when everyone’s Chicago football guy Moon Mullin spoke to a couple of AFC scouts who believe that Mitch Trubisky is worth the No.2 pick.
Two AFC scouts revealed that they had the highest grade on Trubisky that they’d had on any quarterback over the past six years. That means: higher than Jameis Winston; higher than Marcus Mariota; higher than Cam Newton; higher than Russell Wilson; higher than Andrew Luck; higher than Derek Carr; higher than Carson Wentz.
Just like every other person in Chicago, the primary concern from the scouts is the only 13 starts from his time at North Carolina. For some reason that I will never fully understand the one scout thinks that it could work in the Bears Favor.
The evaluation of one NFC regional scouting team was that “Trubisky is an almost perfect quarterback prospect” and that ‘the Bears should count their lucky stars he only started 13 games because if he was a two-year starter, he goes 1/1 [overall No. 1] without hesitation.
The type of talk here has me going a little bit this morning. If we have some NFL scouts saying these things about Mitch then maybe we made the right pick.
