Jordan Howard second in the NFL in rushing left off the NFL top 100 players list
The NFL network put out their top 100 players list and the 2nd best running back in the league Jordan Howard did not make the list
I’m not sure where to even start with this. If you think that this list, put out by the NFL network, has any credibility now we have proof that it doesn’t. The Network had to do one of two things here. Either they totally forgot about Jordan Howard or the purposefully left him off the list for headlines. The List is voted on by actually NFL players who would make a lot of sense when you think about it. A couple of ridiculous examples I found was Blake Bortles ahead of Andrew Luck, and Steve Smith left entirely off the list.
On the reaction show on the NFL network, Ike Taylor came forward saying that no Chicago Bear made the list. Now the Bears are my second favorite team in the NFL. I live near Chicago, so It just worked out that way. I believe that I have no regional bias when I say that Jordan Howard was a no-brainer for this list. Howard’s 1,300 yards rushing was good enough to be second in the league and just proving how much of a popularity contest this has become.
Even to make the argument even more clear I’ll give you one guess on which running back did make this list. You most certainly guessed it, Adrian Peterson. He was clearly not a top 100 player last season. Tell me if I’m wrong that he barely even played last season averaging only 1.9 yards per carry.
The only reason that he could be left off this list is the experience. If players truly believe that 2016 was just a fluke. Now the only comparable to Howard in my eyes is Ezekiel Elliott which he will def. make this list. You can sit and make an argument that Howard had a better year than Elliott. Howard had a great season with no supporting cast or hell even an offensive line.

As I see it if they don’t figure out a way to change how this list is voted on then there is no point in even doing it.
