NCAAB game to watch Louisville at North Carolina
Huge game for the Tar Heels coming to the end of the season. Louisville ranked number 7 in the nation will look to cement hopefully a 1 seed for the tournament if they win this game. Currently North Carolina holds a one game lead on both the Cardinals and Duke in the ACC.
“It’s kind of weird because we’re used to scoring in the 80s and 90s,” Tar Heels guard Joel Berry said. “It just felt different, but if we have to win a game like that, we have to win it like that. If we have to play at someone else’s pace, we’re going to do our best to beat them.”
This quote was coming off a big win vs Virginia over the weekend 65-41. The Tarheels have been averaging 86 pts a game this year. This game should be a lot of fun to watch. Louisville will be a stout opponent playing full court defense the whole game.
One big key for the Tar Heels will be Justin jackson. He is playing great this year scoring over 20 points 14 times so far. That will put him 7th in the ACC in scoring with 18 a game. Big key for Louisville will be Donovan Mitchell who is their top scorer at 15 a game.
I love these late season match ups with the regular season coming to a close. These two teams have split wins the 4 times they have met since Louisville came to the ACC. We need a big win here to bolster our resume for a higher seed and to get ready for the season finale against Duke.
