NBA white guy of the Day Brian Scalabrine
Brian Scalabrine was quietly one of my favorite white NBA players ever only behind Dan Marley or maybe that dude the Bulls employed who followed around Dennis Rodman, which I will Never remember that dudes name no matter how many times I look it up. Besides him being a huge ginger the White Mamba doesn’t take crap from anyone. My only regret with his career is that he would have stuck around in Chicago longer. Here he is the other night about to go broadcast the game. It takes a certain amount of balls maybe 3 to wear a jacket with your face on it. But this guy has a bunch of rings so I guess he can do whatever he wants in the NBA.
Yeah. He’s wearing that. pic.twitter.com/AChF8VgE8z

Early Career of Brian Scalabrine
Brian played well enough at Highline community college to earn himself a ticket to the USC Trojans. While at Highline he averaged 16 pts 10 rebounds and 3 assists. As a stud at USC he was the top average Scorer and lead the team in field goals and rebounds. Scalabrine’s junior season earned the Sporting News All-American honorable mention and All-Pac-10 first team. He averaged 18 pts per game and tied for best three-point percentage with a .403. Brian scored 534 points in 2000 which is the eighth best ever by a Trojan.
Yeah, you are reading that right it says, Bro. Brian Scalabrine was actually drafted by the New Jersey Nets in the second round of the 2001 draft. This draft saw Kwame Brown drafted first overall, Yikes!! He was followed by some heavy hitters like Tyson Chandler and Pau Gasol then Eddy Curry. This was the worst draft in history. You can argue what is the best pick that year but Gilbert Arenas went in the second round. But It was the start of Bryan being on of the luckiest man to ever play in the NBA. The Nets the next two years after he was drafted made the Finals but didn’t win. He stuck around for four years. After he was traded to Boston is when his playing career hit it’s peak winning a championship in 2009. Here he is playing some dopes that think they can body an NBA player that is 6’9″ 250.
