Myles Garrett pleading to not be on the browns bringing in your saturday morning
Not much to say about this then I don’t blame him. I think that the more and more these kids start coming out of college the more we will see these pleas with these millenials. I mean really lets just pick between the two cities. If I were in his shoes I’d be saying this just so I wouldn’t have to live in Cleveland. This just flows desperation from the all but finalized first pick of the draft. All this with reports coming out that some people think he needs to beef up a little bit. Hanging around 270 he really isn’t an outside DE in a 3-4 and doesn’t carry enough weight to be a DT in a 4-3.
This video makes me not like him very much. This isn’t a good look for the first pick overall plus damn this makes the browns look like shit. The competitor in him should be saying the things they all say. They I am going to make whatever team picks me better. This should be a red flag for me that he won’t be pushing as hard as he should for the Browns if they choose him. It would be cool to hear the first question the Browns GM asks this guy at the combine. How awkward it will be if they reach out to him early to start the contract negotiations.
Right after the video came out he started saying the right things about how he’d love to play for the Browns and all that but you don’t make this video if that’s true. Of coarse he doesn’t want to play for them. Nobody wants too.
“People might say, oh they’re this, they’re that, or I made a comment about cold weather and they kind of pointed toward Cleveland,” Garrett said. “It doesn’t matter to me. I’ll play wherever they put me. It’s about your mindset you go into it [with]. If you go in there with a mindset that you’re going to turn things around, you can make that contagious and people start to believe in it, then you can turn it into a winning program wherever you go.”
Have fun in Cleveland
