Steelers got a huge weapon back as Martavis Bryant is been cleared by the NFL for preseason participation
The Pittsburgh Steelers get a big piece back at wide receiver in Martavis Bryant to hopefully take this offense to the next level
Wide receiver Martavis Bryant has been “conditionally” reinstated to the NFL after serving a season-long suspension, general manager Kevin Colbert said in a statement.
The Steelers’ release said Bryant may join the team at its training facility and participate in preseason “meetings, conditioning work and similar activities.”
Bryant has missed 20 regular-season games in two seasons for multiple substance abuse violations, but in the 21 games he did play, he proved one of the NFL’s most potent deep threats with 15 total touchdowns (one rushing).
Huge news for me here. The Steelers get Martavis Bryant back on the condition he doesn’t piss hot again. Sweet deal for us but hopefully he wises up and passes the daily drug tests that I’m sure that he will get during the season. He might get tested after every damn practice maybe starting right now.
Martavis Bryant is a stud compliment to the wide receiving core the steelers have right now. Bryant may be the piece we were missing to put us on top of the Patriots and with the impending retirement, I would guess of Roethlisberger after this season this might be our last window.
