Manny Ramirez’s new contract with a Japanese team is a huge power move
Manny Ramirez didn’t get his fill last year helping out the Cubs hitting on their run to win the world series. Last January, surprising everyone signed a contract with an independent Japanese team. He wrote some really weird demands in his contract with the Kochi Fighting Dogs. Ramirez’s deal with Shikoku Island gives him a Mercedes and a driver whenever he wants to use them. All of the baseball practices are optional for him. Manny gets hotel suites on the road at all games. The weirdest of them all, he will get unlimited sushi for the whole season.
Manny hasn’t played professional baseball in a few years. If he does well he has the option to jump into the Japanese major leagues at any time.
He was just the best.
