Leonard Fournette dropped weight for his NFL pro day
The best back in my opinion, coming out of this draft shed a little bit of what he called “water weight” from the NFL combine last month. Leonard Fornette came into his pro day tipping the scales at 228 pounds. I guess at the time he was shooting for a heavier weight at the combine but said he could have easily got it down to 225.
Leonard Fornette could go really high in this draft
Todd McShay, the guy I actually listen to when it comes to the draft, has him going fourth overall to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the latest mock draft today. Fornette measured to six feet tall in both pro day and the combine while he said that the reason he weighed so much was he drank a lot of water. He was actually surprised by how much a difference that it made.

There really isn’t much else Fournette can do to improve his draft stock. All of the analysists went in on him for his weight and had a terrible verticle leap at 28.5, then he blew them away by running a 4.51 40 and cementing his top draft status. Leonard could have ran right out of the building after that 40 time.
