Jourdan Lewis is allegedly in a lot of trouble with the trail set for the domestic violence charge
The trial date of July 10 has been set for the alleged domestic violence charge for Jourdan Lewis. He appeared at Ann Arbor’s 15th District Court Wednesday morning and couldn’t come to a settlement. Jourdan Lewis has been charged with misdemeanor domestic violence involving his former girlfriend on March 15th. With a very fast court proceeding, he actually pleaded not guilty to this charge on March 16th.
The cops that first made it to the scene at 1 am on March 15th came to the conclusion that they were not able to place who was responsible.
The woman said, “Lewis dragged her across the living room floor and then grabbed her by the neck and held her down on the floor for about three seconds.”
Lewis responded in his police interview that “he may have grabbed it while trying to get her off him but had no intentions to hurt (the woman). Lewis stated at no time was he trying to assault (the woman), he was trying to leave.”
After the incident over a light being on, Jourdan Lewis put himself in a closet so nothing else could happen.
With the countless other examples of this when are these kids going to learn their lesson. There are two things that might have happened in this situation. He either did something horribly wrong which makes him a real POS or something got made up. Jourdan Lewis most likely went thru some sort of HR training while he was in college so if he actually hit this girl I hope they throw the book at him. I don’t know what kind of punishment a misdemeanor domestic violence charge carries but the damage is already done costing him most likely a large sum of money in the draft.
With the Draft coming up on April 27th this will be a very large red flag if a team thought about picking him up sometime during the extravaganza.
