The Last and maybe the most puzzling pick all draft was Jordan Morgan a guard from Kutztown University
The Chicago Bears with their last pick in the draft pick a left tackle that has the size of an NFL guard from Kutztown University, Jordan Morgan
I really really want to like this guy, Jordan Morgan. I mean look at this guy. He looks like one of the guys in the background singing the Super Bowl shuffle of the ’85 Chicago Bears. A guy that looks like he plays super mean on the field. Jordan Morgan is 6’4″ 313 lbs and played left tackle all four years at Kutztown University. The only player that you know that came out of the small college in Pennsylvania is HOF WR Andre Reed.
I have watched a lot of highlights from this guy. He plays pissed off but against what competition. It’s hard to compare him to anything NFL because who does this guy play. Are we really going to talk about a nice block he made against West Chest last season? The only real tape that matters for me on this guy is at the Senior Bowl. And that is exactly why the Bears drafted this guy. He fared really well against major competition at the Senior Bowl. Just so happens that the Chicago Bears were coaching this year so they had first look at Jordan Morgan.
The Major knock on this guy for the Bears is actually his size. Morgan is right on that line to play tackle in the NFL. All the other teams at the combine told Jordan he would be playing guard so of course, the Bears draft our best position on the field. If the Bears want this guy to play tackle lets hope the attitude he brings can make this work. I do not want to see another whole season of the garbage we put at tackle.
