Heisman front runner Baker Mayfield got a little too drunk and ran from the cops
Here is the police report of the action:
“I asked Mayfield to stop and talk to me. Mayfield stated he was trying to break up an altercation that had occurred prior to my arrival. I asked Mayficld to stay so I could take his statement for my report. While talking to the other party involved. Mayfield was yelling profanities and was causing a scene. Mayfield was intoxicated. When he first came over to me. he had difficulty walking down a couple stairs. Mayfield‘s speech was slurred and he had the odor of intoxicants coming from his person. The front of Mayfield’s clothing was covered in food. I told Mayfield to come over to me. When l gave that command. Mayfield began to walk away from me. I repeatedly told him to stop. Mayfield then began to sprint away. I chased alter him. Mayfield was tackled to the ground. While on the ground. I gave repeated orders for him to place his arms behind his back. May field kept his arms locked tight and would not allow me to place his arms behind his back. I eventually forced Mayfield’s ann behind his back. I then placed him in handcuffs.”
How the mighty fall right? People sometimes forget that these guys are still stupid kids. I don’t think you should be able to make a decision for yourself until you are at least 25. You are just way way too stupid until then to be responsible. I know people think that is bullshit but it’s the truth or maybe I’m just talking about my life.
People might forget that this guy was 3rd in Heisman voting last year. I’m sure that after all this he will get probation and nothing more but this front runner for the Heisman this year better have absolute ridiculous number to even get invited after all of this.
My favorite part of this is he had food all over himself. So kids still get way too drunk in college and get Papa Johns. I’m willing to bet lots of money that at 2:30am that is the only thing open. I know they used to sell those pizza’s outside the bar when they closed where I hung out. Still one of the most brilliant business moves I’ve ever seen.
