This is why college baseball is not on tv. McNeese state vs ULM 32-4

Gotta give it up to McNeese state for showing up to this game. If there is any argument for starting these kids out with wooden bats this is going to be it. I’ve always though that college should be done with the metal bat. It’s dangerous for one for the pitcher and the crowd and also these kids can just kill the ball. Now I’m assuming the ULM had their back up catcher pitching in this game is why they got killed but McNeese had a 15 run 5th inning.
If you are wondering yes 32-4 is a record for a win. They had records blown up all in this game having broken 5 school records. One tied for most runs scored by player, one obviously tied for most runs in a game. They broke records
“I was proud of how our guys played tonight,” said head coach Justin Hill. “They played hard until the last pitch. As far as the records go, I’m not even sure what they are. I am just happy with how our guys played tonight. They handled themselves very well.”
I think this is a pretty savage move for the 5th game of the year. If they play ULM again this year first pitch would be right at whoever is at bat’s head. As a competitive guy I totally get doing it if you can but the baseball guy in me says there should be some payback.
10 players had multi hit games in this one, some two players had 4 hits. There was a total of 29 in this one another record that went down. Total bases in this one was 40.
This game must have been just unwatchable. This is no different then a high school softball game when the same happens. I just don’t get how two teams can be so much different where this can happen in college. I guess I want baseball so bad I’ll watch anything but if this is the performance that can happen no wonder these games are never on TV.
Big game coming up for them March 8th LSU so we will see how good they are.
