Rizzo getting hit was a pivotal moment in the game last night. The beanball happened in the 9th inning tieing the game forcing it into extra innings. Anthony Rizzo taking a 100 mph fastball off his forearm by Aroldis Chapman would have broken my arm into 1000 pieces. Somehow Rizzo stayed in the game, but you can tell afterward that he was in a lot of pain. I can only imagine what his left forearm looks like today. Most likely it looks like the baseball that hit him.
After the game, he went right for an x-ray, and it came back negative for a fracture. Good thing he had a fun take on it.
Anthony Rizzo: “Luckily, there’s nothing significant. I thank my parents I drank my milk when I was a kid and have some decent bones.”

There was no short of times of him dropping F-Bombs on national TV last night.
