Are the Chicago Bulls shittin me?
I have been a Chicago Bulls fan all of my life. My earliest memories of the team was watching them battle the Bad Boy Pistons every year in the playoffs. The Bulls of the 90’s were the greatest dynasty in sports history in my opinion. I doubt too many Boston fans can remember the 60’s when there was like 8 teams and one guy over 6,9 but I digress. This team has been flat out miserable once MJ retired and Pippen was traded away in 98. We had a glimmer of hope with Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler until Curry ate his way out of basketball. Derek Rose looked to be the answer until he was sidetracked by injuries and his older brother’s pep talks. The Bulls have flat out missed in the recent drafts with Douggie Mac and that soft ass Croation flop Mirotic. On a side note I hate European players. They are all soft and play no defense at all. That brings me to my new point. The Bulls are 1 game under .500 and clinging to an 8 seed in the Eastern Conference. In professional sports it’s better to be really bad than mediocre. This years team was clearly not built to contend and they bring in a 35 year old future hall of famer in Dwayne Wade. This management team of John Paxon and Gar Forman now have another brilliant idea. According to espn, the Bulls will be front runners for former all star Chris Bosh. Chris Bosh will be 33 next season and has missed the better part of 2 seasons with blood clots. This is their plan. The management team is basically on the Titanic and bailing water with whiskey tumblers. They want to sell tickets and I get that. The Chris Bosh bobble head night would be a huge successs I would imagine. For god’s sake even the laughing stock of the town Chicago White Sox are heading in the right direction. Blow it up and start over. The band aid approach doesn’t work in professional sports.
