Alright so My thoughts on Boogie going to New Orleans
I think that most of us can agree, outside of Sacramento, that he needed to be moved. To all of you Kings fans out there listen up. The Kings have went over 30 wins with this guy only ONCE since he was on the team. Do you understand how terrible that is? It doesn’t matter about how great this guy is or if you put other players around him team would be better. None of that matters because it was never going to happen with him on the team. The only and I mean only move the team could have made was to get rid of this guy. It’s a win win here. He hated being on the Kings. He got every coach that was there fired. He was a cancer to the locker room. It might be a little shocking because he is such a physical specimen of a player but he just isn’t a great player. Boogie cause just way too much trouble to deal with in a locker room. Rival executives have labeled this guy uncoachable. You have to get that out of your building at all costs. I can’t believe it took them this long.
In the trade the Kings got back protected 2017 first–round pick, a 2017 second–round pick, Buddy Hield, Langston Galloway, and Tyreke Evans’s expiring contract. It’s still not an equal trade but at least the deal is done. Now they can start looking to their future and a complete culture change. This is the first time they have thought about long term.
To the Pelicans good luck. I think I see what they are trying to do but the playing styles of Cousins and Davis I just can’t see meshing well. They both play basically the same position. I don’t see how they are going to play together. With the rest of the west just playing like garbage they are only a few games away from the 8th seed. You have to think they can catch up to Denver and make the playoffs. They might be a point guard away from being a good team if they can deal with Cousins.
