Barcelona plan to sell Philippe Coutinho this summer

Manchester United have reportedly launched a bid to sign unsettled Barcelona attacker Philippe Coutinho. That's Barcelona's second goal of the night, and it's Messi's 400th La Liga goal of his career.

Luis Suarez also struck twice as Barca maintained a five-point advantage over Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.

Coutinho signed for Barca in January previous year and was cup-tied in the Champions League, but he impressed in the second half of the campaign at Camp Nou, scoring 10 goals in 22 appearances as Barca won LaLiga and the Copa del Rey.

Regardless of his struggles so far during the term, the former Liverpool superstar is still the man that Barcelona need to count on when they reach the decisive stage of the campaign - thanks to his incredible ability to unlock even the strongest defences in the blink of an eye.

The Brazilian midfielder is facing a lack of game time at Barcelona, and the speculations surrounding his move away from the club have risen over the past few weeks.

Manchester United could be set to give their squad two massive boosts, according to the latest transfer rumours.

Italian media outlet Calciomercato, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Red Devils are among the potential suitors in the FC Barcelona playmaker.

It has also been reported that Manchester United will wait till the summer and only make a bid after the finalisation of a permanent manager at the club.

All in all, it was another convincing performance from the La Liga leaders as they ran out 3-0 victors.

Neymar's father has said a report in Spain which claimed he has been begging Barcelona to re-sign his son from Paris Saint-Germain is "fake news".

However, Tuchel has moved to counter those talks, saying: "I think Neymar feels really happy, he's professional", said the coach to reporters.

Eibar were pressing high up the pitch ten minutes before time and were vulnerable to counter-attacks, however the tempo of the match slowd down towards the end of the half as Barça took the odd goal lead into the dressing room.
