Chelsea Attacker Callum Hudson-Odoi Wanted By Serie A Giants Juventus

Bayern Munich have moved to confirm their interest in Chelsea's young England worldwide, Callum Hudson-Odoi, with Bayern's director of sport saying "we really want him".

According to Sky, Bayern and Chelsea have agreed a transfer of $44.6 million, but it is unclear whether Hudson-Odoi would move in the current Bundesliga transfer window, which closes on January 31, or in July.

The exciting teenager is being linked with a £35million move to Bayern Munich after struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge - though he has started the last two cup games, including the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg defeat at Tottenham.

Head coach Maurizio Sarri and his assistant Gianfranco Zola have both implored Hudson-Odoi to stay put at Stamford Bridge, and left-back Alonso has followed suit.

"He is a very interesting player we really want to sign", he told German newspaper Bild during a winter training camp in Doha.

But after the match Antonio Rudiger revealed that Hudson-Odoi has asked him about his experiences in German football, and Bayern are increasingly confident that they will be able to complete a deal for the 18-year-old this month. Hudson-Odoi would certainly fill one of those voids and, if he does move, would continue the trend of young English players thriving in the Bundesliga. Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson, former England Under-17 team-mates of Hudson-Odoi, have made a huge impression this season at Borussia Dortmund and Hoffenheim respectively. "We want to sign him", said Salihamidzic. It is something he needs to decide for his future. I think for him everything is going very well at the moment.

Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi has warned the club they risk losing him on a free if they block his wish to join Bayern Munich. "I'd like to see him stay and have a real crack". He has all the tools to become a big player, but he has to work a lot.
