Rudy Giuliani's Twitter typo leads to anti-Trump prank

Someone bought that domain and had it redirect to a site that makes fun of Donald Trump.

Giuliani, the former New York City mayor and President Donald Trump's personal attorney, downplayed the significance of Flynn's cooperation in an angry and misspelled text message.

" basically anyone who has even the most rudimentary understanding of the internet (clearly not including cybersecurity expert Rudy Giuliani), the reason there is no link for that is because ".either" is not (yet) a top level domain, and thus Twitter's systems don't see it as a link and don't automatically link it.

It all started around 6 p.m. Friday, when Velazquez came across the random hyperlink in Giuliani's tweet.

"The same thing-period no space-occured later and it didn't happen", he ranted in a follow-up tweet.

The Twitter storm began when the former NY mayor made a typo in a tweet criticising the Russian Federation investigation, omitting a space and accidentally creating a hyperlink.

Giuliani's original tweet has now gained nearly 50,000 likes and 17,000 retweets - but the wealthy lawyer was not impressed, lashing out at the social network. But he tried to post a tweet with.rudygiuliani, for instance, it wouldn't create a link.

Giuliani was immediately roasted by the internet for what one Twitter user described as "turning a typo into a full on conspiracy theory".

"Don't tell me they are not committed cardcarrying anti-Trumpers", Giuliani said of Twitter.

Many were eager to point out the accusation's flaws, drawing attention to Giuliani's cybersecurity background.

Tonight, Rudy Giuliani tweeted his anger over the prank, and proved he has no idea how it happened.

Echoing a common cry - sometimes made by Trump himself - that Silicon Valley's digital giants are biased against Conservative voices, Giuliani suggested that Twitter had done this deliberately.
