Arsenal's Danny Welbeck suffers leg injury against Sporting

Sporting Lisbon captain, Nani, has wished Arsenal striker, Danny Welbeck a speedy recovery after the England global broke his ankle during both sides' 0-0 draw in the Europa League encounter played on Thursday night.

England worldwide Welbeck received oxygen on the pitch and was taken straight to hospital after landing awkwardly following a header during the first half at Emirates Stadium. After the match, Emery confirmed that his back-up striker had suffered a "big" injury and that he had immediately been taken to hospital.

The Gunners dominated the game for long spell but were held to a 0-0 draw by the visitors who put up a disciplined performance at the back.
