Tamera Mowry Fears Niece May Be Victim in Thousand Oaks Shooting

Police confirmed that 28-year-old Ian David Long opened fire at the Thousand Oaks dance bar, killing 12, including a sheriff's deputy and himself, and injuring 15.

Screaming in fear, patrons rushed for the exits, ducked under tables and hurled barstools to smash second-floor windows and jump to safety as gunfire erupted at the Borderline Bar & Grill, a hangout popular with students from nearby California Lutheran University.

Numerous victims' names have not been released.

According to the Napa Valley Register, Alaina graduated from Vintage High a year ago, before becoming a student at Pepperdine University, where her suitemate had tweeted a photo of her earlier in the day, saying she hadn't come home from the bar.

Ashley said that all the other girls she and Alaina were with were accounted for.

The suitemate then replied, saying she had already made contact with The Real and Sister, Sister star's husband and that there was "nothing new to report at the moment".

According to the Los Angeles Times, Mowry-Housley's husband Adam Housley went to Los Robles Regional Medical Center looking for his niece but, was turned away because the hospital was on lockdown. "I'm hoping I'm wrong".

Alaina's Apple Watch pinged from inside the club, and her aunt says they have not heard from her for seven hours.

Housley later asked for prayers on social media and said he was "staying positive and wishing there was more I could do".

Mowry-Housley's twin sister and former co-star, Tia Mowry, also sought information through social media posts early in the day.

"Please pray. Please pray", she wrote.

We're hoping and praying that Tamera and Adam's niece is found safe.

. "We love u!" she wrote. "We love you!", she added along with a sweet snapshot with the missing girl.
