Prince Harry and Meghan to visit Sussex for the first time

The new tour comes after dazzling duchess Meghan stepped out on her first solo tour without Harry, sporting a stunning black outfit for the opening of an art exhibition. It was then that someone opened a vehicle door for Meghan, she stepped out, and then, shut the door herself.

One disbelieving user wrote: "Meghan closing her own auto door is iconic".

"Meghan's developed a case of Madonna's accent change", tweeted one viewer.

Yet, when Meghan Markle, the U.S. actress turned newly-wed wife of Britain's Prince Harry, closed her own vehicle door, a wave of shock and awe rolled over Britain. Whether they're out on a royal engagement or hanging out with family, Harry is always doting on Meghan and never misses a chance to gush about her.

The visit to Sussex comes just days before Harry and Meghan depart on their first royal tour since their May nuptials. She can close doors, too. The Duchess of Cambridge has been doing that for years without much fanfare.

While what she did may seem like what any other person would do, her actions became a hot topic on social media as Markle apparently broke royal protocol. Again, we're talking about a simple gesture of shutting a vehicle door, but you don't mess with Royal protocol.

While there are usually staff members to open and close a vehicle door for royal families, there are also no rules that claim the royals can't do it themselves. The theory went that Charles would then select and eat only one of the eggs.

"I was staggered by the beauty and sheer remoteness of this incredible landscape", he said.

It's hard to believe this has any truth to it, but it's also hard to believe this perception of princely entitlement doesn't feed the fact that, according to a poll from a year ago by YouGov, the Prince of Wales is the least liked member of the Royal Family.

The Duchess was also treated to a performance by a Maori group during her visit.
