7-year-old Malea Emma crushes national anthem at LA Galaxy game

Emma wowed the crowd at the StubHub Center with a rousing rendition of the American national anthem prior to the game.

Galaxy went on to kill the game off shortly after starting the second half as just 52 minutes in, Emmanuel Boateng scored to make the score 3-0 thanks to another assist from Alessandrini.

The convincing victory meant there were many candidates for the day's outstanding performance, but the Swede had a clear victor.

Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic posed for a photo with the singer and shared her video on social media, calling her the "MVP of the game!".

The team also called Malea Emma's performance one of the best in the stadium's history.

"She's been singing forever, basically before she could speak", her dad, Arman Tjandrawidjaja, told USA Today.

Emma won a competition run by the Los Angeles club to sing the Star-Spangled Banner before the match, and even got to meet Ibrahimovic after the game.

Malea Emma, a native of Los Angeles, has had several brushes with stardom at a young age.
