Eminem Finally Reveals The Real Reason He Dissed Machine Gun Kelly

Eminem has revealed that he went "too far" during his diss track aimed at Tyler, The Creator, after receiving backlash for using a homophobic slur. It's a response to MGK's recent "Rap Devil", which plays on the title of Eminem's overzealous 2013 miniepic "Rap God" and insults Em's age, struggles with addiction, facial hair, and more.

"/ Kelly, they'll be putting your name / Next to Ja, next to Benzino, die, motherfucker / Like the last motherfucker sayin' Hailey in vain / Alien brain, you Satanist (yeah)". "I'm not gonna be America's punching bag and (let) motherf-ers think it's cool and safe to say whatever they f- they want about me". It was one of the things that I kept going back to and going "I don't feel right with this.'" He also elaborated on why he went after Tyler in the first place, explaining that he was upset when the rapper called his Shady XV comp "ass." Six years ago might seem a long time, but some things aren't forgiven or forgotten very easily - and apparently not if you're Eminem. "Had enough of this tatted up mumble rapper / How the fuck can him and I battle?"

"I don't give a f**k about your career". You know how many fucking rappers are better than you?

"So I see, "Machine Gun Kelly talks about Eminem's daughter" or whatever, right?"

Many people believed Eminem had gone after MGK because of comments the OH rapper made about his daughter Hailie, but now Eminem has cleared up any confusion and explained exactly why he dropped the diss. The reason I dissed him is actually a lot more petty than that.

"But with the Tyler, The Creator thing, man, I... I..."

Speaking with musician Sway on the latest instalment of a multi-part interview about the album, Eminem said he hurt "a lot of other people" by calling Tyler a "f****t" on the Kamikaze track "Fall".
