Watt determined to prove fitness on Texans return

The Texans open their 2018 season on Sunday, September 9 on the road against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Last season, Watt broke his leg in the Texans' Week 5 loss to the Chiefs. This year, he's admitted to wanting to spend more time with his family and in this episode, Brady's seen at the Al Udeid Air Base in Doha Qatar.

Heaping praise on the Texans' coaching staff, headed by ex-Patriots coaches Bill O'Brien and Romeo Crennel?

So here are the 3 keys to defeating the Houston Texans in week 1. Since Brady became the Patriots' starting quarterback dating way back in 2001, the franchise have never had a losing season and have won 14 division titles ever since.

That is particularly true in the case of Watt, who has had parts of the past two seasons derailed by injuries. Tom Brady only played three series in the first half before giving way to Brian Hoyer, and Wes Welker tore his ACL. "I would love to play 41, 42, 43, 44, 45", said Brady, counting the years out on his hand. It was a very strong year for Brady, and he certainly helped his fantasy owners last year.

The Patriots are making their most noteworthy adjustments on offense. Coming off an MVP season, Brady will be seeking to win back-to-back MVPs and get back to the Super Bowl.

After the news of Julian Edelman's suspension broke, Brady walked away from a back-and-forth with reporters when he was asked about Guerrero and Edelman's relationship. The talk around Foxboro was more about the quarterback though, as the epilogue to "Tom vs".

"It will be a challenge for me".

"I think in general kids want to know you care about them and they need your time and energy", he says. "It's f-- going to be hard to do". "I'm going to know what my job is throughout the week and I'm going to go out there and do my job and hold myself accountable to my teammates and to myself". And once you stop you're done. "I feel that there's still things to accomplish", Brady said.

Brady, who wore a "Pliability" T-shirt to his first press conference of the 2018 regular season, wanted to steer the conversation to football.

Mathieu signed a one-year deal in free agency with the Texans after spending the first five years of his career in Arizona.

Brady said that he has confidence in his wide receiver corps, one that many have labeled suspect and one that's been weakened by Julian Edelman's four-game suspension at the season's outset, his punishment for violating the National Football League policy on performance-enhancing substances.

"That doesn't surprise me at all", guard Shaq Mason said following Wednesday's practice.

It will be hard for the Texans to challenge Gronkowski this Sunday, but if they want a chance to win this game and to start off the season with a win, keeping Gronkowski will be a task they must face head-on - but that is easier said than done.

"It's strength against strength, as the Cowboys rush offense goes against a Carolina rush defense that was number three in the league a year ago".
