Tesla Stock Takes A Hit - After Elon Musk Does The Same

Musk smoked marijuana with comedian Joe Rogan at the end of a two-and-half-hour interview on the "The Joe Rogan Experience", which featured a wide-ranging discussion on topics including artificial intelligence, the Tesla chief executive's technological ambitions and personal hardship.

"Since I joined Tesla on August 6th, the level of public attention placed on the company, as well as the pace within the company, have exceeded my expectations", Morton said at the time in comments revealed in the regulatory filing Friday. Morton joined Tesla on August 6, one day before Musk's infamous tweet claiming that he had "funding secured" to take Tesla private.

Tesla Inc. (TSLA) shares dropped down to their lowest point in almost six months today amid a lawsuit made by a short-seller who is suing the auto company over claims that they lied to investors about taking TSLA private.

Denning took aim at Musk's Thursday appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast, which included a segment in which Musk sounded more like a high college student than the CEO of a massive tech conglomerate.

Later on Friday, Tesla named a new president of automotive operations, promoting eight-year Tesla employee and former Daimler truck exec Jerome Guillen into the role overseeing all automotive operations and reporting to Musk.

Sun Microsystems co-founder Scott McNealy on concerns over Elon Musk's leadership at Tesla and concerns of bias at social media networks.

Rogan described it as marijuana inside tobacco, and asked if Musk had ever tried it.

"I'm not a regular smoker of weed", Musk said. I don't find that it's very good for productivity.

Elon Musk is trending on Twitter again, this time for smoking a blunt. Keep this in mind, Mr. Morton was due a $10 million dollar new hire grant that would vest after four years with the company, and he willingly walked away from it.

"If he wanted to prove them wrong with actions, he would delete Twitter, drop the Unsworth conversation and not use recreational drugs in a public setting". Meanwhile Musk somehow can't stop accusing one of the cave divers who rescued those trapped children in Thailand of being a pedophile.
