New Pixel 3 XL Leaked, Showing Google’s Design Shift

The phone matches up with previous leaks of the Pixel 3 XL in black. They include photos of the Pixel 3 Clearly White variant, the Pixel Stand accessory, and the wireless charging feature.

We are still a few months away from the debut of Google's next generation of Pixel devices. As per what we know as of now, the device will sport a thick notch on the top with dual front camera setup and a speaker along with other sensors. But Google may have more surprises under its sleeve aside from the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

It's speculated that the Pixel Stand might also be a wireless charging dock, with the extra Assistant features baked in, that'll be released alongside the Pixel 3 later this year. The Pixel 3 XL has also reportedly been sighted in the wild in recent days, as a new leak suggests that Google has taken a lot of cues from Apple and its iPhone X for the upcoming phone's design.

The images released by XDA Developers show how much the appearance of the phone has changed. The Pixel 3 XL can be seen in a new color, which if the past is any indication, could be called "Clearly White" when it arrives in its official form.

Although it might be hard to see, there is a dual-tone white design covering the back of the handset which extends to the edges of the phone.

9to5Google also notes the existence of certain strings that hint at special Assistant capabilities when you dock your Pixel in this special stand. As has been rumored, the Pixel 3 XL will potentially have a huge notch. On the screen above you can see that the device boasts 4GB of Samsung LPDDR4X, and 64GB of Samsung UFS storage built-in. Then Google stopped supporting it, saying at the time that a slimmer profile and fast USB-C charger make up for the lack of wireless charging support. Down at the bottom bezel, the renders show that it has a secondary front speaker which is a great news for music lovers.
