Mourinho's dark mood casts shadow over Manchester United

Ironically one of those targets is Leicester's England centre-back Harry Maguire, though the 2016 champions' wealthy Thai owners feel they do not have to sell, particularly having accrued a club record £60 million ($79 million) for the sale of Riyad Mahrez to Manchester City. I think in every pre-season it happens basically the same with probably every club, which the manager wants more.

In the aftermath of that, there were reports that his relationship with vice-chairman Ed Woodward were "at an all-time low" but these rumours have been denied by a reliable source when it comes to Man United news, sports journalist Simon Stone.

"This is where managers show their worth and demonstrate just how good, bad or indifferent they are". It's a strong shell.

This was hardly the ideal way to encourage the club's younger players who featured against Jurgen Klopp's side, including the likes of Demetri Mitchell, Tahith Chong and Ro-Shaun Williams.

Finally, Mourinho also remarked on the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus. I think he's a team boy, a great boy and an honest man, honest to give everything for the team. They deserve the best teams and invest to bring the best clubs to the US.
